Doug Jones - Instrumental Music

                              

       The study of Instrumental Music begins in 4th grade. Students that are interested in studying an instrument will be given a choice of different band instruments to play. The instrument choices are Flute, Clarinet, Alto Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone and Percussion. Once a student has made their instrument choice, they will be assigned to a lesson group that will meet once a week for a 30 minute lesson. First year band students will also have the opportunity to perform in the School's Spring Concert.

      Second year band students will continue with their weekly lesson and in addition, have a weekly full band rehearsal. Second year band students will perform in both the school's Winter and Spring Concerts.
