Tricia Knapp - Room 3 - Grade 1

Hi! My name is Tricia Knapp and I have been teaching for over 20 years! I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education/Recreation and Leisure. My Master's Degree is in Reading and Language Arts. I continued my education and received my Sixth Year Degree in Educational Foundations. I have taught in grades 1, 2 and 3. In addition, I have worked with students in grades K - 5 as a Reading Interventionist. My heart has always been in first grade!

 

I was born and raised in North Haven and I attended Clintonville Elementary School when it housed grades K-6!. My husband John and I currently live in town with our three daughters. We have twin fifteen year old daughters named Elizabeth and Erin who will be sophomores at NHHS. We also have a thirteen year old daughter name Lexi who is entering 8th grade at NHMS. Our girls keep us busy with their gymnastics, dance, basketball, and drama club. We also have two dogs named Biscuit and Lily. They are named after characters from children's books.
