Welcome to Mrs. Filosi's 5th Grade Class!

Let me introduce myself! My name is Anna Filosi and I have been teaching for 15 years. I began my teaching career at Bethany Community School in fifth grade. I was then lucky enough to have the opportunity to join the Clintonville Elementary School team. I have experience in 1st grade, and fifth grade, but I think I found my sweet spot here in 4th! My husband is a professional firefighter here in North Haven and we have two boys ages 6 and 8. Although I am often busy with my family, working/playing outside, or taking care of my animals (dog, chickens, and turtle), one of my very favorite things to do in my spare time is read. I hope that a love of reading is something I can share with your child this year, along with lots of other meaningful and challenging educational experiences. I look forward to working as a team to make this your child's best year of elementary school! My door is always open :)
