James Manzo

Welcome to P.E./Health

 

Hello!  My name is James Manzo and I am the Physical Education/Health teacher here at Clintonville Elementary School.  The 2025-2026 school year is my first year teaching at Clintonville and I am so excited to get started!

 

Clintonville holds a special place in my heart as I was a student here from 2002-2008.  I am a graduate of NHHS and have lived in North Haven my whole life!  I have my B.S. in Physical Education (Pre-K - 12) from Southern Connecticut State University, and my M.S. in School Health Education also from SCSU. 

 

I have previously worked in the district as a long-term P.E./Health substitute at NHHS, building substitute teacher at Montowese Elementary school, and most recently building substitute at NHMS.  In addition, I have served as the head JV baseball coach at NHHS for the past three years.  Last school year I also served as a long-term P.E./Health substitute teacher at an elementary school in Middlefield, CT.

 

Outside of school I love spending time with my friends and family, coaching or watching baseball, and playing golf.
